Hand Painted Flower Pots

Why not have a go at creating your own fine Art hand painted flower pots.

I love looking at the amazing artwork around, and I love working with clay pots. So for me, seeing the detail and effort people have put in to create such amazing works of art is simply mesmerizing.

That is why I have decided to write a post dedicated to the artists who have created these beautiful hand painted flower pots. It is just unfortunate that I have not been able to give credit to the actual artists who have done the work.

We have talked about lots of different ways so far of how to decorate clay pots and make them into things. Like bird baths, flower towers, and even elaborate garden features. But today I want to show you some examples of how people have used their painting talents to create some pretty amazing artwork on flower pots.

I have to say most of these are way beyond my current level of painting skills….

For instance, let’s take this beautiful Beach image. It is amazingly painted. Such skill takes years of practice.

There really is no limit to what you can paint on a flower pot. With a little bit of imagination, you could be creating your own works of art in no time at all.

These are probably the most intricate of designs and definitely for the more advanced artist. Although with some practice you could probably create some simpler designs in a short period of time. There are lots of tutorials for landscape painting on youtube.

Flowers

Next up is Flowers. More examples of just how detailed you can really get with this. The following images are absolutely gorgeous. Don’t you agree?
